T-Mobile US Inc (NASDAQ:TMUS) Expands Network, Poised for Growth

Shortly after T-Mobile US Inc (NASDAQ: TMUS) scam protection was rolled out for T-Mobile customers, Un-carrier has announced that MetroPCS customers will be able to use both Scam ID and Scam Block from July 25th and that too at zero additional cost. As this technology is built directly into the T-Mobile US Inc (NASDAQ: TMUS) network, they will work on all MetroPCS devices.

Ever since T-Mobile US Inc (NASDAQ: TMUS) had launched scam ID and Scam Block back in April 2017, the Un-carrier managed to flag as many as 243 million calls for customers. Only 0.2 percent of all scam calls manage to dupe the customers but the cost a victim can suffer can be as huge as $274. So, as much as $130 million has been saved by the T-Mobile Scam Id and Scam Block feature.

Mike Sievert, Chief Operating Officer for T-Mobile US Inc (NASDAQ: TMUS) was quoted as saying, “These advanced protection technologies put our customers in control, and even better, they are totally free! It’s a good day to be a MetroPCS customer—and a bad day to be a scammer!”

Whenever an incoming call looks like a possible scam to the T-Mobile US Inc (NASDAQ: TMUS) network, the phone will display “scam likely” alert along with the phone number. You can choose to accept or decline the call. If you do not want to be bothered by the number again, you can simply turn on scam block and every time the number tries to reach you, the call will be terminated even before you receive the call.
