To understand the REC (Rural Electrification Corporation Limited), IIM-Trichy has signed a memorandum for financial help to set up a two-megawatt solar power plant at Chinna Suriyur village in IIM-T’s permanent campus.

This campus is 17 km south-east of the city center and is located on the Trichy-Pudukottai highway. It is covered with complete greenery throughout the campus. They are expecting to utilize all the Solar PV Plants in order to cover sixty percent of the power requirements.
